Princess Alice is the third and current sovereign princess of Centralia.

Description

Princess Alice is an alien from the planet Asteria who generally assumes the form of a young but rotund human girl, appearing about 13 years old. Princess Alice's true age is not known, even to herself--"You kind of lose track after a few centuries on Earth"--but it is clear that she is a child even by the standards of Asterians. She often refers to herself as a goddess or deity, though the extent to which this is true largely depends on one's interpretation of what divinity entails.

As a construct of pure magic, Princess Alice technically does not need to sleep, but she was introduced to the concept of sleep by her Earth friends, and subsequently became addicted. She can now be found dozing off much of the time when nothing exciting is happening near her.

Magical powers

It was Princess Alice's immense magical ability that led PrincessJeanette to appoint her as the third ruler of Centralia. Alice is currently the most powerful magic user known in Centralia, though by her own admission, she has not yet learned to fully control her abilities. Those who are close to the Princess, especially TheHandler, go to great lengths to keep her occupied at all times so she does not inadvertently cause destruction with her yet-unrestrained powers. The CentraliaHonorGuard, led by PrincessNicki, also has several protocols in place to help keep the princess and her "crazy powerful magic" under control.

Princess Alice most famously uses her powers to manipulate her apparent physical age, usually assuming the form of an even younger child to "unwind". She has also been known to assume the form of an adult, usually in an attempt to inconspicuously enter spaces where children are not allowed, though this typically backfires, as she struggles not to draw attention to herself even at the best of times.

Miscellaneous hijinks

On one occassion, after the Headmistress of DameAdorabellesAcademy forbid her to host a party on school grounds, Princess Alice directed the CentraliaHonorGuard to block off a portion of street in front of the school to use as a venue for the party. Havensborough law enforcement initially disapproved of the traffic disruption, but came around once Alice invited the Chief of Police to sing "Let It Go" on her karaoke machine.

Princess Alice's main mode of transportation is Livery, a transforming robot who assumes the form of a pink Cadillac convertible. Although Princess Alice is too young to obtain a driver's license, Livery "taught" her how to drive, though in reality he's doing all the work and letting her just pretend to be in control. (This has resulted in much confusion for the Princess when she attempts to drive a different car and finds herself unable to operate it.) Despite the objections of the boring grown-ups, Princess Alice insists her sovereignty means she doesn't strictly need a driver's license. After all, all Centralian driver's licenses are issued in her name. What's she gonna do, issue one to herself?

Although Princess Alice often drives by herself, if she's feeling especially ostentatious, she might travel with a full motorcade, including escorts from the CentraliaHonorGuard, barreling down the road with lights and sirens. She often travels with the motorcade when she wants to impress her schoolmates at DameAdorabellesAcademy, or to make a grand first impression for foreign dignitaries.

Princess Alice once attempted to scam the Tooth Fairy by repeatedly assuming the form of a 6-year-old so she could lose the same baby teeth multiple times. The Tooth Fairy, who apparently keeps detailed records of every child's teeth, caught onto the Princess's ruse and blacklisted her from further transactions.

Princess Alice occasionally wears her military uniform, especially when she wants to "remind" adult authority figures that she "outranks" them. She once got detention for wearing her military uniform to class instead of her approved school uniform. The Princess's military uniform is adorned with what appear to be various medals and decorations, but, when pressed on the fact that she's never been in combat--and, in fact, Centralia has never been at war--she admitted she made them all up to look cool. (The only "real" one commemorates the time she stepped on TsarinaMalice's foot at a conference and pretended it was accidental, which to date is the only casualty in the cold war between Centralia and Discordantia.)
