Princess Alice is the third and current sovereign princess of Centralia.

Description

Princess Alice, despite being an alien from the planet Asteria, generally assumes the form of a young but rotund human girl, appearing about 13 years old. Princess Alice claims her true age to be approximately 317 Earth years, though she has been saying this for a few years now, so it's possible she's lying to make herself sound younger. Nobody really knows why that would be something she'd lie about, given that she is very obviously a child either way.

Princess Alice styles herself as the Goddess of Youth, though exactly what this entails—or, indeed, the true extent of Alice's divinity—remains an open question. As some have observed, 317 years is very young for a goddess, in the grand scheme of things, which goes a long way towards explaining why Princess Alice is...the way she is.

As an Asterian, Princess Alice technically does not need to sleep, but she was introduced to the concept of sleep by her Earth friends, and subsequently became addicted. She can now be found dozing off much of the time when nothing exciting is happening near her.

Magical powers

It was Princess Alice's immense magical ability that led PrincessJeanette to appoint her as the third ruler of Centralia. Alice is currently the most powerful magic user known in Centralia, though by her own admission, she has not yet learned to fully control her abilities. Those who are close to the Princess, especially TheHandler, go to great lengths to keep her occupied at all times so she does not inadvertently cause destruction with her yet-unrestrained powers.

Special abilities

Princess Alice's special power is the ability to manipulate her apparent physical age. She often uses this power to "unwind" by assuming the body of an even younger child. She also occasionally uses it to assume the form of an adult, mainly when she wants to inconspicuously enter spaces where children are not allowed.

Princess Alice can also assume the form of a horse, specifically, a small white pony with a pink mane and tail. This serves little practical purpose, but she does it because she thinks it makes her look cute.

Relationships

Princess Alice met Lexi during her studies at DameAdorabellesAcademy. The two quickly became close, and eventually they made a promise to each other that they would marry when they became of legal age. Alice, however, impatient as always, officially granted Lexi the title of Princess while the two were still young students at Dame Adorabelle's.

Princess Alice's other friends include Imicow, the head librarian of the RoyalLibrary; JaneTheWitch, the current Archmage of Centralia and a former classmate; and HavenTheUnbreakable, a close friend and ally.

Miscellaneous

• Princess Alice once had the CentraliaHonorGuard block off a portion of Shannon Avenue in front of DameAdorabellesAcademy to throw a party after TheHeadmistress forbid her from hosting said party on school property. Havensborough law enforcement initially disapproved of the traffic disruption, but came around once Alice invited the Chief of Police to sing "Let It Go" on her karaoke machine. ¹

• Princess Alice's main mode of transportation is Livery, a transforming robot who assumes the form of a pink Cadillac convertible. Although Princess Alice is too young to obtain a driver's license, Livery taught her how to drive, and she continues to drive on public roads, reasoning that her sovereignty means she doesn't strictly need a driver's license. After all, all Centralian driver's licenses are issued in her name anyways.

• Although Princess Alice often drives by herself, if she's feeling especially ostentatious, she might travel with a full motorcade, including escorts from the CentraliaHonorGuard. She often travels with the motorcade when she wants to impress her schoolmates at DameAdorabellesAcademy, or to make a grand first impression for foreign dignitaries.
