Relationship with Princess Alice
Princess Alice, apparently having nothing better to do, likes to drop in and "play" with the Captain from time to time. She usually arrives in her school uniform, though on at least one occasion she has worn the uniform of a RoyalCentraliaNavalGuard Admiral to "subtly" remind the Captain that she technically outranks him. Princess Alice does not know Captain Bostwick's name, and she refers to him only as "Captain".
Initially, the Princess regarded the Captain as little more than a captive playmate, and the Captain regarded the Princess as little more than a nuisance. Eventually, the two began to warm up to each other. The Princess now regards the Captain as a close friend--though she still has not learned his name--and the Captain has begrudgingly admitted that her presence makes his life more interesting.
