Geography

Centralia is a coastal nation bordered by Mumuland to the north, Discordantia to the east, and Zeoria to the south. The Kingdom of Buttercup Bay, home of the Queen of the Ocean, lies in the eponymous bay, adjacent to the Centralian city of ButtercupBay.

Centralia's national capital and largest city is QueenCity, located along the PeridotRiver in the central region of the country, known as the CapitalArea. Other major cities include ButtercupBay, Colerain, EdgeCity, Riverside, SunsetValley, and VolleyballCity.

Administrative subdivisions of Centralia are known as Prefectures, with every prefecture further subdivided into several Counties. The town of October, for example, is located within November County, which is part of Northland Prefecture.

Government

Centralia is ostensibly a unitary absolute monarchy under the rule of the sovereign princess. However, the current monarch, PrincessAlice, has very little interest in the operations of her government, preparing to delegate the day-to-day work to her "subordinates", especially TheHandler, NicoleBrie, and TzeTze, Minister of Information Systems. When Princess Alice does directly involve herself in her nation's governance, it's usually to issue unilateral decrees in an attempt to get her way, as when she decreed a national holiday in an attempt to get out of math class.
