Royale product line
In late 2021, PrincessAlice, wanting a better way to enjoy her favorite music, or perhaps a better way to drown out The Handler's lectures, approached Blaze HiFi's lead engineer, Amadeus Treblebass, to commission a bespoke pair of headphones designed to her (admittedly very picky) specifications. The Princess, very satisfied with her new headphones, began showing them off to her peers at DameAdorabellesAcademy. Several of the Princess's schoolmates, after listening to the Princess's special headphones, expressed interest in purchasing their own.
In response to this newfound demand, Treblebass and Blaze HiFi moved to put the Princess's special headphones into mass production, releasing the Royale headphones in January 2022. The Royale was a breakout hit, quickly becoming Blaze HiFi's best-selling product of all time. The Royale series with quickly expanded with new products, including the Royale Jr and the Royale Air, introduced in March 2022.
Partnership with Alicorn Systems
With the introduction of the Alicorn 1 smartphone in 2013, AlicornSystems contracted Blaze HiFi to produce basic earbuds as a pack-in accessory. The earbuds packaged with the Alicorn 1 smartphone were unbranded, but those included with subsequent phones in the Alicorn Crystal line featured the Alicorn logo. These pack-in earbuds were based on an older Blaze HiFi design and were manufactured at Blaze HiFi's factory in the town of October.
Following the runaway success of the Royale product line, Blaze HiFi found their October production facility unable to meet demand. In May 2022, Blaze HiFi announced a partnership with Alicorn Systems. Production of Blaze HiFi products expanded to Alicorn's larger manufacturing facilities in Colerain, and in exchange, Alicorn began selling Alicorn-branded variants of Blaze HiFi products.
Products
Over-ear headphones
Royale: Closed-back headphones modeled on the custom pair made for Princess Alice. Available in both a Blaze-branded variant, produced at the October factory, and an Alicorn variant, produced at Alicorn's Colerain factory.
Royale Sharp: Open-back variant of the Royale sold under the Alicorn Audio brand. Manufactured at Alicorn's Colerain factory based on the design of the Blaze 191 open-back headphones previously produced at October.
Royale Jr: Variant of the Royale intended for children, featuring a headband that adjusts down to fit smaller heads. PrincessAlice has been known to use these when she's younger than usual, though hers seems to lack the volume limiter present in the commercially available version.
Royale Air: Wireless closed-back headphones. Sold in both Blaze-branded and Alicorn-branded variants, though all are produced at Alicorn's Colerain facility and contain Alicorn-engineered wireless components.
Earbuds and in-ear monitors
Blaze 210: In-ear monitors. Famous as Princess Alice's preferred earbuds, which she keeps rolled up in her pocket wherever she goes.
Sparkle: Alicorn-branded version of the Blaze 210 in-ear monitors, featuring a slightly upgraded cable and a microphone.
Blaze 1211: Basic stereo earbuds. Variants of the 1211 have been packaged with Alicorn smartphones and tablets since 2013, initially unbranded, but later bearing the Alicorn logo. Sold under the Alicorn brand name Pop! since 2022.
