During their time at Dame Adorabelle's, Imicow served as the rhythm guitarist and producer for [[PrincessAliceAndTheTroublemakers|Princess Alice's pop rock band]]. Imicow was later appointed by PrincessAlice as the head librarian of The Royal Commission for the Secure Reposition of the Collated Material Produce of the Intellectual, Fictitious and Personal Poetic and Prose-Oriented Labours and Associated Artefacts and Ephemera of the Centralian Body Politic and of the Greater Realms Collected Thereby<<FootNote(Thank you to Sredni Vashtar for thinking up a suitably long and ostentatious official name.)>>...more commonly known as the Royal Library. Imicow accepted the appointment only on the condition that the Royal Library, which had historically been accessible only to royalty and high-ranking nobility, be opened to the general public as a circulating library. Princess Alice agreed to these terms, and Imicow holds the position of Royal Librarian to this day. Princess Alice often visits Imicow at the library, sometimes spending the night on the couch (nicknamed "The Imicowch") in the Librarian's Quarters. Although the Royal Library is Crown property, a strange quirk of a very old Centralia law grants the Royal Librarian sovereignty over the library and its grounds. As a result, even Princess Alice, the reigning monarch, is subordinate to Imicow's authority while on Library property.
